I am writing this letter in support of Mufi Hannemann's bid for Congress.
As a 100 percent disabled Vietnam combat veteran, I have known Mufi since 1969 - in his high school days - and he has never changed. He has held true to his friendships, his religion and his love of his parents. This is the fabric of who he is.
This is what I can count on with Mufi, consistency and character. He is proud of his heritage, his parents and who they raised him to be.
Mufi will represent all of Hawaii's people - not some, not many, but all. Vote Aug. 11 in support of Mufi.
