The Hawaii boys 16 crew, which had among its paddlers Mathew Meyers, Kauanoe Vanderpoel, Kellen Bean, Palekana Pamat-Hett, Noah Katzs, Mogul Lu'uwai and Lehau Higashino, took first place in the 500-meter V-12 race and 1,000-meter V6 competition. Lu'uwai also finished sixth in the V-1 finals. Hawaiian's girls 16 paddlers - Kamaile Lee, Mikeala McDaniel, Mikela Wesson, Kahili Novikoff, Tiana Yonemura and Mehana Fisher - took home a silver medal in the V-6 500, and finished third in the V-12 500 and V-6 1,000. Lee, McDaniel, Novikoff and Wesson also were part of the girls 19 crew, along with Lilinoe Bal and Ka'ulu Lu'uwai, that was third in the V-12 500 and V-6 1,000, and fourth in the V-6 500. Yonemura was on a V-12 crew that placed fourth. Vanderpoel, Pamat-Hett and Mogul Lu'uwai joined Maleko Lorenzo, Makalea Aikala and Flo Michellier on the boys 19 crews that took fourth in the V-12 500 and sixth in the V-6 1,000.
