Right-wingers, Tea Partyers have seized control of GOP

August 22, 2012
The Maui News

All across America, people will be dancing the hypocrisy hokeypokey until Nov. 6. They are the Tea Partyers and other right-wing extremists who have seized control of the GOP to the point they now have their own vice presidential candidate, chosen by a presidential wannabe who has raised pandering to an art form.

Remember those complaints about term limits, professional politicians and the phony idea of who creates jobs? Paul Ryan has spent his adult life working in politics in Washington. He has never worked in any business other than as a teenager, relying instead on tax dollars for his wealth. He has been a congressman for 14 years. This doesn't bother me, because I think experience in your job is valuable, but I'm not dancing the hypocrisy hokeypokey.

If they bothered to see what is in Ryan's House Budget Committee proposal, the right-wingers who are not millionaires would blanch and complain if he were not their boy. Dancing the hypocrisy hokeypokey.

Ryan also is one of the House leaders working with Senate counterparts to block any legislation offered by the White House, even preventing fixes to the economy. As such, Ryan is a seditionist, among the most unpatriotic of Americans. Still dancing the hypocrisy hokeypokey?

You put your right wing in, you put your right wing out, you put your right wing in and you shake it all about. You do the hokeypokey and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about.
