Ka Ipu Kukui program to be topic of Kiwanis Club meeting
KAHULUI - Kim Skog of the Ka Ipu Kukui Fellows program will speak at the Kiwanis Club of Maui meeting at noon Thursday at Cary and Eddie's Hideaway Restaurant and Lounge. Skog will discuss the yearlong leadership program designed to help develop and train the future leaders of Maui.
The meeting is open to the public and visitors are invited. Cost of lunch is $12.

Hornack to present 'The Help Desk Solution' talk at Rotary
MAKAWAO - Wendy Hornack, founder and president of Island Support in Kahului, will present a talk titled "The Help Desk Solution" at the Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui meeting from 8 to 9 a.m. Friday at Casanova Italian Restaurant and Deli in Makawao.
Hornack has an extensive background in information technology spanning 20 years, according to a news release. Island Support provides a variety of services and products including installing computer systems for small businesses, computer maintenance, Web designs, newsletter production and help desk solutions.
The public is welcome. Cost of breakfast is $13.

Big Brothers Big Sisters to hold monthly clothing drive
KAHULUI - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui will hold its monthly clothing drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Walmart, near the automotive center. The public is encouraged to donate reusable clothing and small household items.

Wailea Tennis Club to host fundraiser for Mainland trip
WAILEA - The Wailea Tennis Club Junior Team will host a fundraiser on Sunday at the Wailea Tennis Club. There will be round robin play from 3 to 6 p.m. and a dinner and silent auction from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The fundraiser will raise funds for the team to compete in the 2012 USTA JTT Nationals in Cayce, S.C., in October. The round robin is open to players of all skills and ages.
Cost is $20 and includes tennis, food and drinks.
Tickets to the round robin may be purchased from players or at the Wailea Tennis Club Pro Shop on Sunday.

KIHEI - The Italian American Social Club will meet Tuesday at St. Theresa Church's Stawasz Hall in Kihei. The evening will include a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the film "Big Night" at 7 p.m.

WAILUKU - Maui Fair is seeking exhibitors for its Hawaii Products & Services Tent and Commercial Exhibit Tent at the 90th Maui Fair from Sept. 27 to 30.
To apply for an exhibitor booth, email sherri@mauifair.com and include a photograph of your product. The submitted information will be reviewed and a packet will be sent to the applicant. Participation is by invitation only.
The commercial exhibit application is available for download at www.mauifair.com. Application approval will be confirmed by notification from a Maui Fair representative. All booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
