BENEFIT PARTY AT FLEETWOOD'S

Fleetwood's on Front Street kicks off a series of grand opening benefit parties tonight with Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Johnny?Lang performing with Mick Fleetwood's Island Rumours Band.?Tonight's party will benefit Childhelp on Maui. Call 669-MICK (6425) for more information and reservations.

Grammy Award winner George Kahumoku, Jr. opens the show with his musical and storytelling talents. Special?guest Ledward Ka'apana is known as the Hawaiian "grand master" of stringed instruments. HOLOMUA NA HONU!

Maui Ocean Center invites you to join them in saying "aloha" to five 2-year-old Hawaiian green sea turtles as they holomua (progress) and continue life in the wild, the open ocean. The festivities are from 9 to 11 a.m., south shore fronting Grand Wailea. Activities preceeding the release include presentations, information booths and followed by music by Kalani Smythe. FRIDAY NIGHT IS ART NIGHT IN LAHAINA

Stroll through dozens of art galleries in LahainaTown tonight from 6 to 9 for special gallery shows, featured artists in action and refreshments all free and open to the public. Pick up the walking map of participants in the Lahaina Visitor Center located at the Old Lahaina Courthouse from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

AUGIE T'S 'SUMMER OF LOL' AT THE MACC

Augie T's "Summer of LOL" returns to McCoy Theater at the MACC. Special guests are Jose Dynamite and Brad Starks. ST. ANTHONY BAND CARNIVAL FUNDRAISER

St. Anthony band students are planning a trip to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall. Help them get there by joining them at the carnival on campus, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. There will be food, games, entertainment, crafts and activities for the whole family. Free admission.

HALAU HULA KEALA KAHINANO O PUNA

PLANT SALE AND FAMILY FUN DAY

SUN YAT-SEN STATUE UNVEILING IN LAHAINA

The Lahaina Restoration Foundation and Wo Hing Society invite the public to the dedication and unveiling ceremony of a statue of Dr.?Sun?Yat-sen, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wo Hing Museum in Lahaina. A film documenting the history of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, educational exhibits, and entertainment will be featured.
