Kahului 11-year-old records second ace

WAIEHU - Jordan Terada, an 11-year-old from Kahului, recorded his second hole-in-one on Aug. 18 at Waiehu Municipal Golf Course.

Terada aced the eighth hole, using a 4-hybrid for the 150-yard shot, which was witnessed by Ariel Hanson, Lance Terada, Tyler Munetake, Kasey Munetake and Darryl Munetake.

Softball leagues accepting players

KIHEI - Registration is being accepted for three South Maui Parks and Recreation Department softball leagues - a coed league, a 50-and-over league and a coach-pitch league for girls ages 5-8.

Participation in the adult leagues is limited.

Registration forms are available at the department office at 303 E. Lipoa St.

WAILUKU - St. Anthony High School will accept applications for its baseball head coach opening until Sept. 8.
