HONOLULU - Kalei Adolpho continued to shine in her starting role for the eighth-ranked University of Hawaii Wahine volleyball team as she had nine kills and six blocks in a 25-20, 22-25, 25-19, 25-19 win over St. Mary's on Saturday on the second night of the season-opening Rainbow Wahine Invitational at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The Molokai High School graduate had a .643 hitting percentage. Hawaii (2-0) also got 17 kills from Emily Hartong, while Jane Croson had 14 and Jade Vorster had 12 kills in 16 swings with no errors.
Hawaii meets sixth-ranked Stanford today in the final match of the tournament.
Kamehameha Maui graduate Ginger Long did not play Saturday for UH after making her indoor debut on Friday.
St. Mary's (0-2) was led by 15 kills from Kristina Graven. Samantha Tinsley had 11.
Stanford defeated Albany 25-14, 25-7, 25-15 in Saturday's first match.
