Kahili's 13th hole aced two times on same day
WAILUKU - A Maui youth and a part-time resident of the Valley Isle each recorded holes-in-one on the 13th hole at Kahili Golf Course on Aug. 14.
Summer Wong, a 9-year-old from Haiku, aced the hole from 134 yards out with a 5-iron. Her shot was witnessed by Bettina Hearer.
Later in the day, Brian Scott, who splits time between Maalaea and San Francisco, used a 7-iron for his 187-yard shot, which was witnessed by Frank Luchowski, Eric Molina, Mandy Marinas and John Yokouchi.

Hilo resident posts Pukalani hole-in-one
PUKALANI - Marylou Nakano of Hilo had a hole-in-one at Pukalani Golf Course on Aug. 18.
Nakano aced the 143-yard 16th hole, using a 9-wood. The shot was witnessed by Ron Na-kano, Nanea Reeves and Victor Anderson.

Garduno aces No. 7 at Elleair
KIHEI - Roberto Garduno of Kihei had a hole-in-one Sunday at Elleair Maui Golf Club.
Garduno aced the seventh hole. His 167-yard shot, with a 3-wood, was witnessed by Jerry Wiedeke.
