Traveling public is not treated well by the airlines

August 29, 2012
The Maui News

Maybe if the airlines where a little more fair with the traveling public they would do better.

I made a reservation to travel to Honolulu on Aug. 29 and return Aug. 30. Something came up and I had to cancel the reservation. When I did, I was told I would get nothing back from the ticket I purchased for $136. So, in other words, I just made a contribution to Hawaiian Airlines, as if they need $136.

We need the Superferry really bad. We only have the airliners for transportation between islands. The people of this state have been mistreated for years and I guess will be for many years to come because big business has had its hands around governments for years.
