If the decision on the development of the malls on the Piilani Highway in north Kihei is unfortunate enough to go ahead, and the developer continues to insist that the public has no need to meet with the developer to hear more details, then perhaps the Maui County authorities involved could require the developer to complete the bike path along the highway on the other side of the road as far as the new section to the roundabout as part of the deal to keep the neighbors happy.
