Hawaiian music continues on Front St. every last Thursday of the month at its new time, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Baldwin Home Lawn. Free.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 31

ALOHA FRIDAY CONCERT SERIES

The last summer concert at The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui will be bigger and better than before with four-time Grammy winner George Kahumoku, Jr., Kevin and Sheldon Brown, and Richard Ho'opi'i with students from the UH Maui College's Institute of Hawaiian Music. The free show will be held outdoors at the Palm Court from 5 and 6 p.m. Drinks and food specials will be available. Kamaaina get 50 percent off at Ko restaurant nearby. Call 875-4100.

BLUE HAWAIIAN MOONLIGHT

George Kahumoku and friends will headline a romantic musical evening on the grounds of the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30. Food, drink and lei will be available for purchase. Tickets are $35 ($25 for MHS members). Children 12 and younger admitted free. Low back beach chairs allowed. FANTASY ISLAND A KIT KAT CLUB CABARET

Come sail away with the Kit Kat Club and a cast of cabaret entertainers from Oahu as they take you on an exotic, fantasy-inspired journey at Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapu.
