Oct. 1-The deadline to enter the 39th annual Lester Hamai Memorial Women's Golf Tournament is Oct. 1. The tournament is scheduled for Oct. 13 at Maui Country Club, with a 7 a.m. shotgun start. Maui women golfers at least 18 years old with a GHIN handicap of no more than 36 as of Oct. 1 are eligible. The entry fee is $80, which will also pay for use of a cart, lunch and entry into contests. Oct. 6-The Maui High Foundation's benefit golf tournament is scheduled for Oct. 6 at Kahili Golf Course in Wailuku, with a 7 a.m. shotgun start.
