The Maui Community Band and Arts Education for Children Group will perform during a benefit at 3 p.m. Sunday at Ka'anapali Coffee Estates.
There will be live music by the full band and its ensembles, which includes 50 musicians ranging from adult professionals to students.
The event will also feature food, wine and coffee.
Maui Community Band student conductor Sharon Nakama leads fellow members during a Fourth of July celebration in Lahaina. The band will perform at a benefit Sunday at Ka‘anapali Coffee Estates.
This inaugural event will benefit the Maui Community Band and Arts Education for Children Group, as it continues to promote musical events and workshops throughout the island and beyond.
Band members will not only perform, but also circulate among the guests, serving food and refreshments. A silent auction will include fine art, activities, restaurant meals, hotel stays and more.
Cost is $50 per person; tickets are limited.
