I am a carpenter and I have struggled to find work and put food on the table ever since the Great Recession slammed into Maui.
It seems like some people who talk about human values forget that we workers, mostly born and raised on Maui, also have real human needs. The first among those human needs is a good job with good pay and benefits.
The Piilani Promenade project will create hundreds of construction jobs and nearly 2,000 permanent jobs when built.
My family and I strongly support this project.
