No-kill policy possible on Maui with combined effort

September 8, 2012
The Maui News

Recently, Maui had it's first no-kill conference for homeless pets. I want to thank Phyllis Tavares and everyone else involved in organizing this conference for all their efforts in bringing this team of enlightened animal supporters to Maui.

It is so clear that we must find a way to break the chain of killing that is happening here. If we, all the people here on Maui who want a no-kill policy, as well as all of the Maui organizations dedicated to no kill, can find a way to team up together and support one another with respect and kindness and great passion for the change that is needed, we can make it happen.
