DUI Sentences

The following sentences for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of Aug. 20 to Sept. 5. The listings include the offender's name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Alexis Felicilda, 25, Waiehu; DUI, driving without a license, lack of due care; $600 fine, $412 in fees.

Robert Fulcher, 26, Haiku; DUI; two-day jail term, $300 fine, $412 in fees.

Anthony Gumboc, 22, Kihei; DUI, lack of due care; $600 fine, $412 in fees.

Damon R. Kerry, 47, Kihei; DUI; two-day jail term, $650 fine, $687 in fees.

Teri Koen, 55, Kula; DUI (second offense within five years); five-day jail term, $500 fine, 18-month license suspension.

Hana District Court:

Lissa Wendell, 55, Nahiku; DUI; $150 fine, $132 in fees.

Lahaina District Court:

Jon Kaaihue Jr., 32, Lahaina; DUI; $250 fine, $412 in fees.
