A red flag warning issued by the National Weather Service for the leeward areas of all major Hawaiian Islands has been discontinued.
Strong trade winds and dry conditions today produced increased fire dangers.
The National Weather Service map shows had shown red flag areas as Maui's southern and southwestern coast from Kaupo to Kapalua and up the isthmus toward Puunene.
