I must say that the two people running for the Senate leave a lot to be desired.
Linda Lingle refused to obtain money from the federal government to help this state. As mayor of Maui County for eight years, she proved to be the worst. When she got into the Governor's Office on promises to make things better, she made them worse. She and her Republican Party have run not only this state into the ground but the entire country. Linda's grade is an F-minus.
While in Congress, not one bill to help Hawaii did Mazie Hirono introduce. She was just there to fill a seat. I requested help from her three years ago and am still waiting for her to respond. So, it seems, she too has little regard for the people of Hawaii. Mazie's grade is an F-plus.
Now we have to vote for one of these two people. I guess we again have to vote for the lesser of two evils.
