Fact-checking disproves letter’s Obama statements

While I know that the Romney campaign has told us that they aren't going to let their campaign be run by fact-checkers, that doesn't mean that we the public should believe everything we read. A case in point was the Sept. 6 letter "Obama has long list of firsts among presidents" where the letter writer merely copy and pasted a list of complete falsehoods from a right-wing blog. Even the paragraph before the list was pasted with no pretense of originality.
