Maui High is tied with Baldwin in the race for the Division I first-round crown, but the Bears beat the Sabers earlier this season. King Kekaulike is still looking for its first points on offense in MIL play. The Sabers are third in the league on offense, one spot in front of Na Alii - the order is reversed in the defensive rankings.

Sabers at a glance

Jared Kapisi is tied for the league lead in receptions, with seven, and is the Sabers' leading scorer with seven points on three field goals and a PAT. Raymon Ledesma's average of 30.5 yards per catch leads the MIL. Justin McCrary is Maui High's leading rusher and 10th in the league.

Na Alii at a glance

*****

Baldwin vs. Kamehameha Maui

Saturday, War Memorial Stadium, 7 p.m.

Overview

Baldwin can take the Division I first-round title with two straight wins but must rebound from its worst MIL defeat in more than a decade - 32-0 to Lahainaluna. Kamehameha Maui, last in the league on offense and defense, did not allow a point to King Kekaulike's offense last week. Baldwin is second on offense and No. 4 on defense.

Warriors at a glance

Even with sack yardage figured in, quarterback Kalai Yap is third in the league in rushing - he has 162 of the Warriors' 263 rushing yards. Yap is fifth in the league in passing yards - six of his 10 completions have gone to Chase Newton, who is third in the MIL in catches and receiving yards (85).

Bears at a glance

Keelan Ewaliko, 16-0 in his MIL career, is back at quarterback after missing two games with a broken rib. Linebacker Jordan Hoiem will miss his third straight game after a stress fracture was diagnosed in his right foot Monday. Ryan Garces' seven catches are tied for the league lead, and his 117 receiving yards rank first.
