BasketballMaui to host free shooting clinic
BasketballMaui will conduct a shooting clinic from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 26 at the outdoor courts at Maui High School in Kahului.
Instruction will be offered by Ed Palubinskas, a personal coach for the Los Angeles Lakers' Dwight Howard, and Ken Konecki, founder of the Mid-range 7 Training Program.
The free clinic is for all ages. Participants under 18 will need a signed parental release form to participate on the courts.

Elleair Maui offering introductory golf clinics
Elleair Maui Golf Club in Kihei will offer introductory clinics on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 6 to 7 p.m. each day, starting next week and running through October.
The fee is $99 for any five lessons. Space is limited to 20 participants per day, with five students per instructor.
