County Department of Public Works Director David Goode will address bike routes and pedestrian-friendly streets during a Kihei Community Association meeting Tuesday evening.
The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Kihei Charter School, 41 E. Lipoa St.
Other speakers include Kihei resident Rich Brunner, who will highlight his receipt of a grant for "safe routes to school," and Christine Andrews of the Electrical Vehicle Alliance, who will give a presentation on electric vehicles.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for pupu and talk story. Participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to donate to the Maui Food Bank.
