The St. Anthony High School and Maui High girls bowling teams entered a tie with Lahainaluna for second place in the Maui Interscholastic League standings on Saturday, while the Trojans moved closer to the lead in the boys race.
The St. Anthony girls beat King Kekaulike 2-1 at the Maui Bowling Center in Wailuku, and the Trojans won the boys match 3-0. The Maui High boys and girls teams defeated Lahainaluna 3-0.
Sloan Becraft had a 142 for the St. Anthony girls (5-7), Estelle Rossman had a 115 and Selina Williams a 111. Keanuenue Mahi had a 105 for Na Alii (3-9).
The Maui High girls (5-7) got a 169 from Kara Oshiro, a 108 from Jessica Saki and a 107 from Makaila Akahoshi. Brittany Treu had the top score for Lahainaluna (5-7), a 118. Kailiann Tuipulotu added a 109 and Alisha Coston-Chung a 103.
The St. Anthony boys (8-4) were led by a 124 by Michael Fernandez. Noa Castleton had a 110 and Rick Allen Nobriga a 109. Jeremy Chang of King Kekaulike (0-12) had the day's top score, a 197.
Trent Hori had a 189 for the Sabers (7-5), Codey Kuhaulua had a 147 and Brendan Baker a 145. Royce Rosenthal had a 156 for the Lunas (3-9), Jake Ryan had a 146 and Tyler Ihu a 117.
