Maui Preparatory Academy has announced the following staff additions and promotions:
* Ryan Kirkham, formerly the director of Student Life and Athletics and Upper School Science faculty member, has been promoted to the position of Middle and Upper School principal. Kirkham is a founding faculty member of Maui Prep.
* Kawika Casco, formerly physical education faculty member, has been promoted to athletic director. Casco will retain his position as a teaching faculty member and will also oversee all athletic endeavors for the school including Maui Interscholastic teams and activities.
* Faculty additions include Angie Glass as pre-school teacher, Kathleen Ireland as Upper School Science faculty member, Kay Milne as art teacher and Kristie Fetterly as Middle School English faculty member.
Maui Prep opened in 2005 with 37 students in grades 6 to 8 and today has more than 190 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten to 12.
