Festival ends on a high note

Multi-Grammy winner Eric Marienthal on sax, Jr Volcano Choy on trumpet and Paul Marchetti on drums play at a Sunday jazz brunch in the Grand Wailea Grand Dining Room, the final event in the Maui Jazz & Blues festival that began Thursday. The marquee event of the festival Saturday evening in the Molokini Garden of the Grand Wailea drew a sellout crowd of 2,000. About 20 musicians took the stage including jazz drumming legend Louis Hayes, blues guitarist Joe Louis Walker and trumpet player Skip Martin of Cool & the Gang.
