Puunene stump ground down

Trees of Hawaii workers Dani Kaanana (from right) and Thor Wood clear monkeypod shavings from a stump near the Puunene Post Office earlier this month as Jordan Martin holds onto a wooden barrier to keep the wind from blowing it down. The crew was grinding the stump to remove it. The tree was cut down last November.
