St. John’s 30th Annual Kula Festival takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the church grounds, located at 8992 Kula Highway. There will be an award given for best ’80s costume! The festival will include a quilt show and history display, ono food, games for the keiki and free face painting! There will also be fresh produce, plants, flowers, crafters, gift baskets, a silent auction and live entertainment all day including award winning Napua Makua and Halau Na Lei Kaumaka O Uka. Proceeds are shared with local nonprofits. Free admission. For information call 878-1485.
