Event taking a stand for children

Wailuku Elementary School 3rd-grader Caitlin Moore, 8, has fun with some “rainbow rice” at the Iao Preschool booth at Saturday’s 17th annual Stand For Children Rally at the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center. The event sponsored by Maui Family Support Services drew a variety of agencies and organizations that help children and families. Moore, who graduated from Iao Preschool, performed hula at the event with halau Hui Lanakila and kumu Marie Biga.
