Pet of the Week

September 23, 2012
The Maui News

No. 43 J.J. Ever feel like everyone is looking at you as if you were different? Well, as a shelter dog with a limp, I feel like that a lot. The worst part is that I'm a perfectly happy, playful, loving dog. I'm only 8 months old, and I have a long life ahead of me to worship you. My leg is actually getting better every day, and I love to work it out on my daily walks. When I get to running on the beach, swimming or playing with my friends it goes away, then I get to be just like any other dog having fun in the sun. When I finally get adopted, I plan to be the coolest beach dog on the scene. So, what do ya say? Wanna be the super-cool person that gets to be on the other end of my leash?
