Several roads near the War Memorial Complex will be closed Thursday afternoon for the annual Maui Fair parade that begins at 4:30 p.m. at the University of Hawaii Maui College campus' Kaahumanu Avenue entrance.
The parade goes up Kaahumanu Avenue, turns at Kanaloa Avenue and ends at the Maehara Baseball Stadium.
The following roads will be closed at 4:15 p.m. Thursday:
* Wailuku-bound lanes of Kaahumanu Avenue from the intersection of Kahului Beach Road to Kanaloa Avenue.
* Paia-bound lances of Kaahumanu Avenue, from the intersection of South Papa Avenue to Wakea Avenue.
* All lanes of Kanaloa Avenue from the intersection of Kaahumanu Avenue to Park Drive (Keopuolani Park).
The roads will be reopened by 6:30 p.m.
