A manpower shortage led to trash not being collected curbside Tuesday at residences in Haiku, Paia, Kuau and Spreckelsville, according to an announcement from Maui County.
Affected areas include: Haiku and Kokomo roads, Kuanana Street, North and South Laelua places, Lilikoi Road, Nonohe Place, Pili Loko Street, Puu Koa Place, Waipua Street and all surrounding streets.
The Department of Public Works' Solid Waste Division said workers would pick up trash in those areas today.
