CHILI COOK-OFF AT THE FAIR EVENTS ARENA
See Maui's top chefs square off against the Maui Fire Department in the 8th annual Chili Cookoff fundraiser, from 4 to 6 p.m. (final presentation, awards and sampling will start around 5 p.m.) The Events Arena is located on the grassy area fronting the War Memorial Pool. Samples will be on sale with all proceeds to benefit Shriners Hospital for Children Patient Transportation Fund, where children afflicted with injuries related to fires can receive the necessary medical treatment and rehabilitation therapy in their recovery.
