As one of around 200 animals that got to go home from the shelter in September, I have plenty to smile about! My name is Rufus, and I was adopted by my dad Dan after 122 days. You may remember me as Adam (puppy No. F8A). I came to the shelter when I was just a baby. Four months later, I finally got my happy ending with the best forever family a pup could ask for. I get to go to work with my dad, sleep on the big bed at night and get all the love and cuddles I've always dreamed about. One of the best parts about the whole thing is that I get to surprise people with how smart and well-behaved a shelter dog can be. Hopefully someone out there is reading this right now and will decide to give one of my buddies still at the shelter something to smile about too!
