Police are seeking this woman, shown in this surveillance photo, who is trying to use a stolen debit card on June 30 at a Bank of Hawaii automated teller machine in Lahaina.

In another case, assistance is sought in identifying those responsible for the theft of a purse at Lulu's Lahaina Surf Club and Grill in Lahaina Cannery Mall on June 29. The following day, a Caucasian woman tried to use a debit card from the stolen purse at a Bank of Hawaii automated teller machine in Lahaina.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Bascar and Hano and the identity of the woman shown in the Lahaina surveillance photo is asked to call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966. Neighbor Island residents may call toll free at (888) 242-6966. Callers remain anonymous and are given a code number.

Maui Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for felony crimes; the recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs in felony cases; or the capture of felony fugitives.

Consider all wanted people as dangerous. Do not approach, follow or take other action that could put one in danger.
