I have nothing personal against Linda Lingle except that she is a Republican, one that really did not improve life in Hawaii, and regardless of her attempt to say if elected to the Senate she will be bipartisan, it ain't gonna happen. She will always vote the party line.
The last thing this country needs is to have the Senate be taken over by Republicans. We have seen what they have done to us by blocking every attempt by the president to get this country on its feet. They recently filibustered against a bill that would have helped veterans get jobs. The vote was 58 for and 40 against. Is that what we think of those willing to die for us?
We have seen that the so-called party of fiscal responsibility is the one that let the George W. Bush administration destroy our economy, which they now want to blame on President Barack Obama.
I'm sure most of you have noticed that Bush is almost never mentioned by Republicans. Why? The only accomplishment he has on his side is making us broke and wars without end.
This Republican Party is not your granddad's Republican Party. It has been taken over by internationalists who have no loyalty to anything but money.
My first time to vote was for Dwight D. Eisenhower, a real conservative loyal to American values. Since then, the Republican Party has given us losers.
