The Maui News

University of Hawaii sophomore outside hitter Jane Croson has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

Croson will not accompany the team on its road trip to Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara.

"Jane has to take care of some off-the-court issues in order for her to resume full-time practice and competition," said coach Dave Shoji. "She is a big part of our team and we hope she can meet the standards of a UH student-athlete in order to be reinstated soon."
