A coconut cut by ‘Jimmy Fruit’

October 5, 2012
The Maui News
Naser Manasra cuts a coconut for a customer Tuesday afternoon at the Kihei Open Air Market. “You can call me Jimmy Fruit. That’s how people know me,” the Palestinian immigrant said. “All my fruits come from local vendors.” Manasra runs a fruit stand in the open market near the Kihei Post Office. He said the market features 18 vendors selling jewelry, clothing and other island crafts and products.
