Lena Fox had 42 digs and Regal Deen Jackson had nine kills as the Seabury Hall girls volleyball team beat Hana 25-22, 25-22, 24-26, 25-20 on Saturday night, the Dragons' first loss of the Maui Interscholastic League season.
The Spartans improved to 5-1, while the Dragons dropped to 6-1.
Seabury Hall avenged its only loss of the season, a five-setter to Hana last month at Erdman Athletic Center.

"Sometimes, as a coach, there are certain games where you need to motivate your players," said Seabury coach Scottie Zucco. "Playing Hana doesn't require motivational speeches. The kids, they enjoy playing Hana, and I think it goes the other way."
The Spartans' Gabby Ratte had six kills, 23 assists and two blocks. Kiki Leuteneker contributed six kills, two blocks and four aces and Sophie Janssen had three kills and six aces.
The Dragons' Pakalana Helekahi had 20 kills, seven digs and two aces. Shalen-Brae Hoopai had nine kills and 10 digs for Hana, which on Friday sent Molokai to its first loss of the MIL season, and Jaynalee Hoopai contributed 12 assists, nine kills and six digs.

"We played all right, but Seabury just came out better," said Hana coach Louis Hoopai.
Fox moved to libero two weeks ago, following the Spartans' loss to the Dragons.
"She was definitely a major reason we were able to fare well and to start our offense," Zucco said. "She has an amazing knack to be in the right place at the right time."
The Spartans have six sophomores and three freshmen on their roster.
"We have predominately a very young team, sprinkled with a couple of seniors in there," Zucco said. "Being a young team, we definitely need to stay focused."
