I was driving toward Lahaina recently when I noticed the new light being installed near Puamana Beach Park. I wondered who would think that's a good spot for a traffic light.
While traffic laws might require one, did no one see the future traffic jams? Did the Launiupoko light not provide any foresight? How about large, safe turn lanes that won't cause accidents and traffic jams?
C'mon, developers, let's plan a little better than that.
