I want to invite everyone to attend the J. Walter Cameron Center's annual fundraising benefit to be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the fabulous King Kamehameha Golf Course
The theme of the event is "Casino Night! Viva Las Vegas!" and it promises to be a memory-filled evening with live music, dinner, dancing and exciting Las Vegas-style fun with legal gaming tables including black jack, roulette, craps, Texas Hold 'em, Let It Ride, bingo, and silent and live auctions.
The fundraiser is part of the lead up to the center's 40th anniversary next year. For two generations, the Cameron Center has provided an affordable home to numerous critically important nonprofit/community agencies which serve more than 30,000 Maui families each year.
While the Cameron Center has received public funding to help in revitalizing its facilities, for operational support it depends primarily upon the generosity of committed local companies and the people of Maui.
For individual tickets or a table, call Candy Sakugawa Baisa at 244-5546 or email her at candy@jwcameroncenter.org.
The J. Walter Cameron Center is located at 95 Mahalani St. in Wailuku. To learn more about the story behind this wonderful community institution, visit jwcameroncenter.org.
