Philippine Consulate General to offer outreach services on Maui on Oct. 27

The Philippine Consulate General of Honolulu will offer outreach services from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Maui County Department of Motor Vehicle offices at the Maui Mall.

Services will include Philippine passport application; legalization of documents including affidavits, powers of attorney and deeds; civil registry reports of births, marriages and deaths; dual citizenship application and oath taking; and registration for overseas absentee voting.

Applicants can go to www.philippineconsulatehonolulu.com to download forms and check requirements. The Philippine Consulate General accepts only cash, money orders, bank drafts or cashier's checks payable to the Philippine Consulate General for services.

The Immigrant Services Division of the Maui County Department of Housing and Human Concerns provides free assistance on immigration-related matters including citizenship, permanent residency and family-based petitions.
