After watching the presidential debate, I would have to say Mitt Romney has style - funny kine style, as we islanders say.
I thought he was completely disrespectful of Jim Lehrer. He verbally pushed that octogenarian around without mercy.
Romney lacks humility and empathy, he comes across as one who believes altruism is evil.
Lehrer knew this was a debate for the presidency of the United States and that each candidate should be treated with respect. It could have turned ugly and combative if Lehrer tried to rein in Romney.
We cannot have someone as pushy as Romney representing us around the world, as he certainly proved to be a dud when he went to England and made Republicans - and the rest of us - look bad with his condescending talk toward the U.K.'s Olympic committee.
He may look presidential to some, but he certainly does not sound like a man we can trust to be helpful and responsive for our needs.
He will most certainly bend over backward to help corporations increase their bottom lines at our expense. His contributors know that as they keep President Barack Obama in their cross hairs.
Astrologers predict our hapa haole president will win another four years to finish an agenda that will help us all, fairly and squarely.
