Farmers set up key showdown with Spartans

Noah Caparida ran for 185 yards and two touchdowns, and also completed a scoring pass, as Molokai High School defeated Hana 68-14 in a Maui Interscholastic League eight-player football game Saturday in Hana.

Caparida completed three of four passes for 31 yards for the Farmers (3-1), who finished with 440 yards of offense while allowing 150. Chelsen Ena Victorino threw two touchdown passes, caught a 2-point conversion throw and kicked four extra points.

Molokai's only loss this season is to Seabury Hall - the Farmers and Spartans are to meet Saturday in Hoolehua.

Kaimana Kahale had two touchdown catches for Molo-kai against Hana (1-4), David Pascua ran for two scores and King Kahana-Kalua produced a pair of touchdowns, on a 50-yard touchdown run and the recovery of a blocked punt in the end zone.

Chasen Kanakaole scored both of the Dragons' touchdowns. He gave Hana a 6-0 lead with a 4-yard scoring run 1 minute, 21 seconds into the game, and returned a kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown later in the first quarter.
