Shizue "Sybil" Komatsu, 84, of Kahului and formerly of Waipahu, passed away on September 30, 2012, at Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born in Waipahu on July 8, 1928.
Private family services were held.

Shizue is survived by her husband, Kiyoto "Koma" Komatsu; son, Lloyd (Jennifer) Komatsu; daughter, Bonnie (John "Bobby") Brooks; brothers, Mitsuru Yamaguchi, and Toru (Karen "Ae Sook" ) Yamaguchi; sisters, Patsy (Robert) Haga, and Naomi ( Paul ) Gonsalves; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
