Are people serious? Folks supporting the incumbent South Maui state representative seem to have selective memories.
The current occupant is dishonest in explaining his record. He claims he voted against civil unions because of pressure from his constituents. Fact is, he's been against equal rights from the beginning and stated so during his first campaign.
His stance against medical cannabis (let them take pills or synthetic cannabis) is a slap on the face to the many who have benefitted from its historic and modern use.
Please take a good look at our current rep and consider his worthy opponent, who is firmly progressive, Kaniela Ing.
