First photo: Michael McDonald sings ''I Keep Forgettin' '' while playing the keyboard. Along with Fagen on piano and Scaggs on guitar, the trio played their individual hits and classical soul and R&B songs. The Dukes were backed by a nine-piece ensemble composed of many members of the Steely Dan touring band. Their Maui concert was the jumping off point to a tour of Japan that will take the group to Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo and Yokohama through early November.

The Dukes of September Rhythm Revue Michael McDonald (second photo, from left in spotlights), Donald Fagen and Boz Scaggs perform the song "Do You Like Good Music" on Thursday night at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's A&B Amphitheater. The three legends put on an exhilarating show for a full house on a balmy night under the moon at the MACC. "They played for over two hours and didn't disappoint," said Art Vento, MACC chief executive officer. "They lived up to the legendary billing."
