The Maui News is not only showing its Republican bias via its editorials favoring business, Linda Lingle and conservatism in general, but also by the letters to the editor that it's choosing to print. This has been especially evident in the weeks leading up to the election.
For example, there have been a preponderance of letters attacking President Barack Obama and in support of Mitt Romney.
Knowing The Maui News and how it caters to the right, I can't say I'm surprised by the blatant bias that I've seen. I just expected it to be a bit subtler.
