If condemnation, negation and fanaticism determined the outcome of elections, Barack Obama would be a one-term president. If lies, unreason and foolishness picked the president, Obama would be a one-term president.
Fortunately, there are millions of people who are sensitive to character, quality and essence. Millions of people realize that quantitative men - those who have spent their lives making money, avoiding taxes and bullying people by both inherited and earned position - are destined to be bad presidents.
The overly fortunate, who have not personally suffered a number of tragedies, defeats and disappointments, cannot understand - cannot feel in their hearts - what life is like for the disenfranchised, the minority, the long-suffering. Just as the physician who has not undergone and conquered many illnesses will always lack the compassion and empathy to properly relate with patients, the smart aleck whose numerous advantages are diminished by vanity, lack of wisdom and a spoiled nature will rarely possess the sensitivity to feel for things outside the orbit of his self-interest. He is sealed in his aura, like a dead insect in amber.
There has never been a great man who was a shopkeeper. Businessmen generally lack the temperament, disposition and universal outlook to bring various cultures, religions and people of disparate aspirations together. The world cries for a voice, not a boss. The world has plenty of CEOs - it is infected with capitalism, colonialism and selfishness - and it and the planet have never been so imperiled.
