A 35-year-old diver who was pronounced dead after being pulled from the ocean near Maalaea on Saturday was identified as Kerult Luter, police said Monday.
The Kahului man was last seen at about 3 a.m. near Haycraft Park. His body was spotted by a commercial ocean craft at about 5:15 a.m. floating facedown about a half-mile from shore.
An autopsy is pending.
