Don’t interfere with nature’s circle of life

October 31, 2012
The Maui News

An Oct. 24 item in The Maui News says sharks are preying on sea turtles. No duh. That's what happens in the ocean; it's called the circle of life.

The turtle wasn't hurt by a human or sickness, it was bit on purpose so the shark could eat - like every animal in the world.

The people who took the turtle out of the water had no right to interfere with nature and should be fined for touching the turtle in the first place. It is not our place to interfere with the sharks' natural food source.

I think there's a lot of turtles out there, too many.
